Fixler
A Swedish web platform that reads a contractor's renovation quote and returns a structured report: risks, unclear terms, a clarity index, and more. I designed it in one month; the Fastdev team took it to a production-ready MVP in two.

The Brief
Homeowners sign renovation quotes they cannot really judge. A Swedish founder came to Fastdev, the development company I freelance for, with a vision he calls Private Renovation Control: help people understand a quote before they sign it.
The brief: a production-ready MVP, no written specification, requirements evolving directly with the founder. My part, one month of design: a design system grown from the client's green brand, the full screen set, and a clickable prototype. The plan from day one was prototype-first.
Code first, then Figma
I built the design system with Claude Code: it started as working code and moved into Figma afterwards. Semantic color tokens, a Roboto Flex type scale, and a component library from inputs to the report widgets. The recordings below show the system as it landed in the Figma file.
Assembled, not drawn
Screens were assembled from the parts of the system, not drawn from scratch: first in Figma through Claude Code and the Figma MCP, then entirely in code. The MVP ended up in two forms at once: a Figma file marked Ready for dev, and a working prototype you could click.

Main flows of the MVP
From landing page to report
The whole path in one session: sign in with an email straight from the landing page, name the project, add the contractor, and drop the quote file. The analysis takes about a minute; the video is sped up to spare you the wait.
Start a negotiation
The analysis comes back at 59 out of 100: needs clarification. The report lists exactly what to ask about, from the total price to the ÄTA terms, and one click shares it with the contractor as a read-only page. When the updated quote arrives, it goes straight into Fixler as a new version.
Compare and accept
With two contractors in the project, Comparison puts their quotes on the same scale: eight areas, from scope to payment terms, each marked clear or needs clarification. The stronger offer wins on evidence, not on a gut feeling: open the winning version and accept it right in Fixler.
Handoff, and what came after
What I handed off: the Figma files with the user scenarios for desktop and mobile, the full screen set, and a component library on a token base, plus the front-end folder I committed to GitHub together with the design docs. The Fastdev team continued on top of them.
Two months later they shipped a production-ready MVP. The product has since taken on changes of its own, a redesigned landing among them, and it is live with paid plans at fixler.se.
